Kenworthy’s Chambers Takes on New Pupil Jack Dingley

Kenworthy's Chambers | December 5, 2024

Kenworthy’s Chambers is pleased to announce Jack Dingley, who joined our chambers in September 2024 and is expected to start his practising period within January 2025.

Jack will undertake a mixed practice of Immigration, Asylum and Nationality and Administrative and Public Law.

Maria Rushworth, Kenworthy’s Chambers’ Practice Manager said: “As a part of our strategic expansion, we are training up new talented Pupils. With extensive experience working at the Bradford and Manchester Tribunals, we are excited that Jack has joined us.”

Jack Dingley said: “Obtaining pupillage has been tough, and I am pleased that the efforts have paid off. I’m now eager to try some new things and use this time to cultivate my skills as an advocate.”

He added: “I am incredibly excited to join Kenworthy’s as a Pupil Barrister. I have long wanted to transfer to the bar, and having worked alongside members of Kenworthy’s for many years, I can think of no better place to build a practice.”

Kenworthy’s Chambers has a history of training some of the best talent in the legal industry. For further reading see Kenworthy’s Chambers Takes on New Pupil Zahra Khan and Three Pupil Barristers Qualify at Kenworthy’s Chambers.

Jack Dingley remarked: “Kenworthy’s was the top choice for my intended area of practice, Immigration and Asylum and I have a lot of respect for members who I am now grateful to have the opportunity to learn from.”

One of our members who Jack will be working closely with is his Pupil Supervisor Jonathan Greer.

We asked Jack, what it is like learning from Jonathan Greer, who was recently ranked in both Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500, and was Appointed Deputy Judge of the Upper Tribunal. Jack said: “My supervisor Jonathan has a creative and assertive approach to advocacy that I am keen to adapt to my own style, and I hope to learn to work with the same efficiency without losing any attention to detail.”

Once he begins the practicing six months of pupillage, Jack Dingley will be supported by our Immigration Clerks Courtney Richards, Daniella Howarth, and AJ.
