Kenworthy’s Chambers Shortlisted for Legal 500 Set of the Year

Kenworthy's Chambers | June 19, 2025

Congratulations to our Immigration Team on being shortlisted for ‘set of the year’ at The Legal 500 Bar Awards 2025

The exclusive, black-tie event, celebrating the very best of the Bar, is set to take place on Wednesday, 24 September at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London, on the South bank of the Thames, overlooking the Houses of Parliament.

Practice Manager Maria Rushworth said, “We are thrilled to be shortlisted for ‘immigration set of the year’ at The Legal 500 Bar Awards 2025. This is a monumental achievement for our Immigration Team, who thoroughly deserve the recognition they have gained over the last year. Big congratulations to the entire department.”

The Legal 500 Bar Awards 2025 marks the second awards ceremony that our band-1-ranked Immigration Team has been invited to attend within the space of a year! Back in December, Gita Patel and Craig Holmes ventured to the Manchester Civil Justice Centre as finalists shortlisted for ‘Chambers of the Year’ at the inaugural Greater Manchester Pro Bono Awards.

Shortlisting at The Legal 500 Bar Awards 2025 follows a very successful year for Kenworthy’s Chambers’ Immigration Team, with Pupil Jack Dingley qualifying and bumper results for our experienced practitioners in the 2025 legal directory rankings. We were ranked as a leading set in Immigration, with six of our Immigration Barristers making the Legal 500 rankings.

The Immigration Barristers that Legal 500 recommend in their 2025 rankings are Gita Patel, Shazia Khan, Mark Schwenk, George Brown, Jonathan Greer, and Craig Holmes.

Describing our Immigration practice, The Legal 500 said: “Kenworthy’s Chambers has a track record of work for claimants, including matters relating to right to work enforcement, EU settlement, and refugee protection. Instructing counsel at Kenworthy's Chambers is made very easy because of the efficiency of the clerks. Courtney Richards is truly amazing and Daniella Howarth is also fabulous. They respond swiftly to enquiries and book counsel and send the details and provide all the fee notes efficiently.”
