Preparing Witness Statements
The first seminar of 2024 is Preparing Witness Statements which is designed to guide Civil Litigators through all the formal requirements of witness statements and detail best practice for use of language.
Hosted by Civil Litigation and Personal Injury expert Peter Quegan this free CPD training course teaches how to prepare a compliant, convincing witness statement without committing professional negligence. This seminar also covers the pitfalls of procuring procedural evidence, tips on common exhibits and the use of photographs.
Trial Preparation
The second seminar to take place in 2024 is Trial Preparation, which is once again hosted by Civil Litigation and Personal Injury Barrister Peter Quegan. He will bring 28 years of industry experience to this event, which aims to teach Litigators ‘manoeuvrism’ – how to take the right instructions and use each stage in the proceedings to best advantage.
We hope that Civil Litigators attending this training seminar gain a new way of seeing the journey, from taking first instructions to winning trials. Peter’s aim for the event is to get participants to think strategically, whilst taking you through the best-practice approach to litigation, preparation, and fraud issues.
Challenging Hair Testing Results in Court
Challenging Hair Testing Results in Court is a free CPD training course hosted by guest presenter and Expert Witness in the field, Paul Hunter (BSc Hons. Biology and Biochemistry) Technical Director at Forensic Testing Service LTD since 2010. Paul has over 100 Court appearances under his belt as an Expert Witness in Care Proceedings and has over 3000 expert reports for childcare cases.
Forensic Testing Service LTD provides services including testing and expert reporting for Courts, Local Authorities, private and public substance misuse treatment providers, Probation Services, Crime Reduction Partnerships, and the Police.
This event examines whether drug testing methods are failing to provide fit-for-purpose evidence and is a fantastic opportunity for Family Lawyers, Family Barristers, Criminal Lawyers, Criminal Barristers, and Children Law Practitioners to gain an understanding of the facts to support challenging evidence around hair testing.
