Introducing Kenworthy’s Chambers New Criminal Clerk Greg Highton

Kenworthy's Chambers | February 21, 2022
Kenworthy’s Chambers has hired a new Criminal Clerk to work with our growing Criminal Law Team, offering a full range of advisory and advocacy services across the UK.

The below article is dated. Greg Highton now focuses his practice solely on Criminal Law.

Greg Highton will be supporting the efforts of Kenworthy’s top Employment Barristers taking instructions in a wide range of employment cases, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, equal pay, wages claims, trade union matters, and protected disclosures.

Speaking about the new appointment, Practice Manager Maria Rushworth said, “Greg comes with great experience, so of course, we are thrilled to have added him to our thriving Employment Team at Kenworthy’s Chambers.”

Greg Highton has been working as a Barrister’s Clerk for nearly a decade, developing a deep knowledge of the Northwest legal community. Legal 500 has heaped high praise upon Greg, saying “Gregory Highton is professional and diligent. Very efficient and trustworthy. He promptly and effectively deals with all queries.”

Greg joins Kenworthy’s Chambers as both an Employment Clerk and a Criminal Clerk, adding to the strength of the Clerking Team which aims to provide legal services of the highest quality to all clients. He said, “I am excited to start a new challenge at Kenworthy’s and look forward to building strong relationships with Employment Lawyers in the Northwest.

“I count myself fortunate to be joining a highly respected set that prides itself on top quality service and am excited to contribute.

“I have been enjoying being back in the ‘hustle and bustle’ of a busy criminal diary for a month now. Expanding my skill set by undertaking Employment Law is challenge I am relishing."

"Kenworthy’s Chambers is extremely well run and there is very much a sense of everyone working as one team - assisting wherever possible. The Clerking Team is very efficient and provides a first-class service which I am happy to now be a part of! I feel as though I have fitted in well and hope that other people feel the same way about me!"

“The team I work with are hard-working and easy to get along with, Paul Mander in particular is great to work with. I appreciate how I have been given the time to settle in and get to know how Kenworthy’s Chambers and the member Barristers like to operate.”
