Credit Hire, Civil Litigation, and Personal Injury expert Adam Lewis took time out of his busy practice to lend his expertise to a Credit Hire panel event hosted by MSL Legal and Supportis Law.

He was accompanied by his colleague Daniel King. Daniel is the newest tenant to join Kenworthy’s Chambers across their Civil Litigation, Credit Hire, and Business and Property groups, at the invitation of Steve Cairns (MSL) and Anthony Hughes (Supportis Law).

Credit Hire Panel 

Adam Lewis and Daniel King led a roundtable discussion on case management. They shared best practices and spoke about how accurate information recording can help limit issues during litigation and avoid potential disputes.

A key theme was the value of early, positive communication with both clients and suppliers to minimise potential problems and identify areas of concern at the earliest possible stage.

The discussion was attended by staff representing the full spectrum of MSL and Supportis’ business. MSL is a customer-focused claims business, offering claims handling services and legal expenses insurance to MGAs, insurers, brokers, and self-insured businesses. Meanwhile, Supportis provides expert HR services and consultancy, offering a range of professional, tailored HR and Employment Law services.

Adam Lewis and Daniel King’s contributions to the panel reflect a shared commitment to CPD, helping to advance legal careers and practical collaboration. The roundtable also forms part of the ongoing development of Kenworthy’s Chambers’ relationship with both organisations.

Northern Circuit Success on the Field

In a separate highlight from the weekend, Adam also represented Northern Circuit in the annual rugby fixture against the Irish Bar, a longstanding contest played on an alternating home-and-away basis, which is accompanied by a ladies’ hockey match. 

This year, it was the Northern Circuit’s turn to host, so the Irish Bar travelled to Broughton Park FC, a historic rugby club based in South Manchester, first established in 1882. 

The Northern Circuit secured an impressive double victory, winning the rugby 41–17 and the hockey 2–0. 

Then, both teams of players were treated to hospitality at the world-famous Lowry Hotel overlooking Salford Quays, in Media City.
