Criminal Law
Zahra Khan is a Pupil Barrister who specialises in Criminal Law. Following completion of her pupillage she will practice in Crime.
Prior to commencing Pupillage, she was immersed in the criminal justice system working as a Crown Court Clerk ensuring that justice was administered smoothly by engaging effectively with defendants, Judges, and Counsel in court daily.
During that time, Zahra Khan gained invaluable experience observing trials involving allegations of murder, attempted murder, and domestic violence.
She drafted an application for the Criminal Case Review Commission for a prisoner convicted of drug smuggling seeking an appeal as a Case Worker at the Freedom Law Clinic.

Family and Finance
Zahra Khan will represent parents and other family members in Family Law cases.
Prior to joining Kenworthy’s Chambers, Zahra Khan gained invaluable experience by undertaking marshalling and multiple mini pupillages in public and private law.
In addition to observing the use of intermediaries in handling vulnerable witnesses when undertaking a mini pupillage, our Pupil Barrister Zahra Khan also gained expertise communicating directly with vulnerable individuals in voluntary roles at a refugee programme, homeless charity, residential care home, and youth club.
